Freelance artist Courtney Ann Johnson started 2017 a few weeks into a huge new chapter which started her personal lifestyle brand; CAJ. Courtney is a New York native who has built a bi-coastal career that extends from the Big Apple all the way to Beverly Hills, and now extending her abroad at points this year. She has grown her knowledge in the beauty industry since she was eighteen years old and has been mentored by the greats. Her cut and color training has been influenced by Toni & Guy, Arrojo, Goldwell, Schwarzkopf, etc. While her knowledge in editorial styling has come from her program in the Mastered Accelerator Program. Courtney is also a student of Destroy The Hairdresser where she plans to continue growing her knowledge of business and brand growth.
Courtney’s services range from private services of hair cutting, coloring, and texture sessions. As well as editorial, print work, retaining a celebrity clientele, styling weddings, makeup etc. The CAJ brand will continue to grow and evolve but the most recent turn has had Courtney coming up with concepts she's passionate about and portraying them on sets that shes begun creatively directing. One thing we can expect from Courtney this year is a lot of real innovative, punk, and romantic art placed with story telling.
